I have always enjoyed the space-y style in songs, and I think it’s just so neat how just by adding reverb and some delay, you can achieve this ambient of sound. I had just recently learned how to make the wub synth using Serum, so I designed my own wub sound and incorporated it into youronlyconfidence. This was my first ever song I’d written as this style (future bass) while having some space-y elements in it too. Arcade by Output has so many amazing sounds in there, so I grabbed a few from them (mainly the vocals in the drop) and put those into the song and I just love the way it all turned out. I wanted to make this song tell a story, one of beauty and awe with some adventure, hopefully I achieved that here!
