introduction to ableton liveabletonbluesacoustic guitarvocalsassignment 2courseraberklee college of musicsynthesizerorgan
My vocals are not perfect because only one day out of the week I have about an hour of peace and quiet (my room is next to a tv) to record. So sorry about that and a little bit of impromptu was in there

This has a very interesting experimental sound. Maybe try setting up your mic in your closet to deaden some of the outside noise, it might help a bit. Keep up the good work!...

Thank you so much!

This is brilliant. Agree with comments below about vocals being a little louder but this is an ace track regardless.

punkpanda9 years ago
Me too I had some trouble getting them louder without the gain being to much and the computer running caused some excess noise. definitely will be working on my set up XD

well, I like it. I wish you could put the vocals a bit louder on the mix, coz it sounds really interesting

Haha next assignment I'll try to work the uke in @Johnny Cosmic

Johnny Cosmic9 years ago
Great job btw! I want to hear some uke!!!

add a compressor to the vocal track. also roll off a little of the high end of the reverb on the vocals. go into the controls on the voice reverb. you'll find eq settings for the high end in there. this will make it so the verb isnt reacting to the sibilant sounds, sss's, high end of the voice ect. it's a small detail, but it goes a long way it making it sound more professional
