Design by day... Meaning I have a day job designing cars for one of the major manufacturer's. I've dabbled in music prior to taking the Ableton class by performing a few DJ sessions live and samples can be found on Soundcloud of a sets performed during my standard 4 + hour set performed at Goodnite Gracie's located in Royal Oak Michigan. These sets are condensed (mixed live) to a one to two hour play time and begins with a slower pace to gradually increasing in BPM's until the finish. The genre is Trance/Progressive Trance with Synth-pop and or German industrial added on other days...(or actually whatever I may find interesting to add to the set. Often this is on the fly) And of course depending on my mood. Normally a set is set up this way due to the venue having dinner patrons that will change over to a more "bar" setting as the night progresses. Often the sets were performed on Tuesdays which tended to a more low key atmosphere than a weekend night since the music is more on a - mellow/melody/lounge - attitude. Eventual plan is to add live MIDI input with self designed loops and melodies to add along with video/visuals of my own creation and composition. Then to really make things interesting my plan is to add video of my own composure with existing video, new created work with design/art integrated. Thank you for listening and I hope you enjoy.
