You're getting clipping at the top so its distorting. Try turning all the channels down and let the limiter or compressor work on the master channel.

Great start. Really like the groove. I agree with @ElectroBongo , go back to the opening beat at :32, which you do at 1:06, basically cut out that current low key part at :32-1:06 and save it for later. I would even bring the opening part back again later in the song. Make it the catchy part everyone is wanting to get back to. The beat, bassline and synth chords are perfect for that.

This track is really superb, I think all need is just a more warmth, I not have a lot of time, but i can mix, i have some nice analog compressors and analog devices to try to warmth your mix.
