Remix ROLI’s “Shape Music” Track to Win BLOCKS

ROLI recently released BLOCKS, a modular music studio made for everyone — from new music makers to pros looking to shape sound in new, expressive ways. BLOCKS allows you to make music naturally through fun, intuitive gestures on a touch-sensitive playing surface. Each individual Block fits in your hand or your pocket, and they’re incredibly powerful. Just connect BLOCKS to NOISE, the free iOS app, and you instantly have a wide array of sounds, drums and effects to create with.
Now it’s your turn to begin exploring the dope sounds from NOISE by putting your spin on the “Shape Music” track for a chance to win BLOCKS along other cool prizes.
Here’s how to get involved:
- Pull the stems for “Shape Music” from ROLI’s profile
- Create your remix in your DAW of choice
- Publish your update to ROLI's project by January 10th
ROLI & Blend will review and listen to all of the submissions and pick winners.

We’re really thrilled with the participation received for this contest. We had a great time listening through all 75+ remixes and new ideas inspired by the original “Shape Music” theme...it was a tough task to pick the winners. Our sincere thanks to everyone who submitted a remix. We are happy to announce that Colin Patrick has been chosen as the grand prize winner! He put his own unique spin on the track and still tastefully referenced the original theme song. We also would like to congratulate ReSet and Julian Reith as the runners-up for this production challenge. Stay tuned for an upcoming blog post with some of our favorite remixes and reflections from several creators in our community.
