Aela Invites You to Remix 3 Tracks, Get on the Official Remix Release

Los Angeles based singer & multi-instrumentalist Aela showcases a unique sound mixing chillwave and hints of metal led by her ethereal vocals, distorted heavy guitars, and fresh pulsating beats. Aela, who has been a member of the Blend community for sometime now, self produced her a four song EP Feels Like Home last fall.
Aela reflected on the inspiration behind her dark pop sound saying “I could break into a diatribe about how these songs were about rejecting divisive societal constructs like politics and religion, but that’s honestly just boring. So, instead I’ll tell you that I wrote love songs about that desire, and dedicated them to a metaphorical Satan. He’s literally the antithesis of God, and he’s metal as hell. I really just wanted to not take myself too seriously, so I tried to keep the music light, but at times let my intensity shine through. It’s a marriage of my two extremes."
Aela is thrilled to share the stems for three tracks off the EP and invites you to remix them for a chance to be on an upcoming remix EP out this year. Are you ready to collaborate? Here is how to get involved:

Aela was blown away by the reponse and quality of remixes for the 3 tracks she published last month. She reflected on the experience sharing "I've been a part of the Blend community for awhile, so it's been such an honor to see everyone come together and create such unique remixes out of something of my own. There was not one remix I didn't like, which made it extremely hard to choose and, consequently, I ended up picking a few more tracks than I expected to! Amazing job to everyone, and thank you so much to all who contributed! "
