Blend Announces Stem-Only Projects With OK Go’s “I Won’t Let You Down” Exclusive!

Blend is already the premiere platform for backing up and collaborating on music projects in their native format. With support for Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Garageband, Pro Tools, Reason, FL Studio and Native Instruments Maschine, many music creators have been covered but sometimes the best way to share music sessions is the more universal, multi-track stem format which is why today we’re announcing support for Stem projects on Blend.
You can now publish (learn how) and pull Stem projects to collaborate with other producers regardless of what your or their DAW of choice happens to be. And once you’ve pulled a Stem project you can save your update right in the pulled folder and Blend will correctly detect the DAW you used, and allow you to keep your collaborators in the loop when publishing your updates.
The first project published in this format is OK Go’s “I Won’t Let You Down” from their fourth studio album Hungry Ghosts. The track was produced by Tony Hoffer (Beck, M83, Depeche Mode) in Los Angeles. OK Go invites you to put your spin on their track in your DAW of choice, and the best ones will be featured on their social media channels.
