Chantae Cann’s incomparable soul fulfilling voice has landed her #1 on the iTunes Jazz Charts along with rising the Jazz Billboard Charts with her debut album Journey to Golden. You’ve probably heard her voice featured on tracks in-studio or on tour with Snarky Puppy to India Aire. Journey to Golden is music that blends the exploratory sounds of Jazz meeting the feel good vibes of Soul showcasing what her heart desires.

Now Chantae is taking Journey to Golden to the next level with Co-Founder of Atlanta's Werc Crew, Xavier BLK, doing a complete revamping and remixed version of her album called Journey to Golden ReWerc out April 17th. Along with Xavier BLK, the remix album will feature fresh remixes from producers hailing from Atlanta, Toronto and New York, and now Chantae wants to collaborate with the Blend community to finish this hot release inviting you to remix the stems to “Beauty Speaks”.

Here is how to enter:

Pull the stems for “Beauty Speaks” on Chantae’s Blend profile
Create your remix in your DAW of choice
Publish your update by March 11th to have your remix submitted

Chantae and her team will review all of the submissions to include her favorite remix of "Beauty Speaks" on the upcoming remix album out in April. She will announce a Grand Prize Winner to be selected on the release and also receive Prime Loop's Soulful Hip Hop & Future R&B and Chill Trap Pack. Two runner ups to be featured on Blend and receive Vinyistic Soul and Future Hip Hop Samples from Prime Loops. Get Involved!

"I’m elated to announce the winner of the “Beauty Speaks” remix contest via BLEND.io! We received many amazing submissions from ALL over the world and it was very hard to pick just one, so here are the top 3!

In 1st Place we have Mr. D Mills from Los Angeles, California with a most soulful rendition. This funky format along with the grooviest bass line is what stood out to me the most and continued to hold my attention throughout the entire song. I also loved the chromatic walk downs in the vamp, as well as the improv section. It was just an all around complete mix. Congratulations, D! Thank you for submitting!

Our 1st Runner Up is Mr. McCallaman from Toronto, Canada! I really appreciate the overall vibe of this song. Love the dance beat, and I especially love the smooth complimentary vocal lines throughout the song. It’s futuristic yet nostalgic at the same time. Thank you for submitting!

Our 2nd Runner Up is Mr. Pavlo Lytvynenko representing the Ukraine! I loved your use of ALL of the colors. It definitely warmed the soul. The contrasting progression in the vamp is one of my faves and I’m completely inspired by it! Of course the funky fade out at the end is a fave as well. Thank you for submitting!
