Shaun Barrowes showcases his many talents to create musical masterpieces leading him to be Emmy-nominated for his TV show, "Vivir Bailando”, the theme song for videogame Shadow Complex and an award winning songwriter. Since he started his songwriting career as a teenager, he has performed on American Idol, Season 7 and toured with Imagine Dragons, Lindsey Stirling, Brian McKnight, Janelle Monae, and many others.  

"Shaun has released the new single called DragonGirl. The song is a love for his Fiancee which he shared the night he proposed, and it's a song dedicated to all those who love Fantasy, Video Games, Superheroes, Star Wars, Cosplay, and more". Shaun is inviting the Blend community to remix his new single for a chance to win some awesome prizes.

Here is how to collaborate with Shaun:

 

1. Pull the stems for “DragonGirl”
   
   
2. Remix the track in your DAW of choice
   
   
3. Publish your update by January 19th to have your remix submitted

 

And that’s it!

Shaun and Sony/Orchard will listen to all of the remixes and announce three winners. The Grand Prize winner will receive a Lightpad Block from ROLI, Izotope’s Neuron 2, and the winning remix will be officially released via Sony/Orchard who will do a full 3 month marketing and radio promotion campaign for it. Second and Third Place will receive ROLI’s Equator and have their remixes released on New Vintage Records or Coldwave Records. Let’s start remixing!

 

Rules: Rules: All genres accepted. Open worldwide to entrants who are aged 13 or older. Entrants who are under the age of majority in their country should get parent(s) or guardian(s) permission before entering. Remixes can be posted publicly online but downloads should be disabled until after the remixes has been selected and remixes must be named as follows "Shaun Barrowes - DragonGirl ('Artist Name' Remix)". Remixes can not be distributed for sale without the permission of Shaun Barrowes, New Vintage Records and Coldwave Records. Remixes should be posted on Soundcloud with downloads DISABLED. Any remixers suspected of using copyrighted material will be disqualified.
