Judy Karacs Calls For Remixes, Get On The Official Remix EP

Judy Karacs has been involved with the Blend community starting her journey with Berklee College’s Ableton Live course leading her tracks to be featured on Blend Assignments Volume 2. Judy’s roots stem from being a classically trained vocalist for opera and classical music. Overtime she has evolved to use her graceful and powerful voice over her new evolving dance and experimental music production landing her various label releases.
Judy’s goal has always been to convey truth and passion in her compositions in order to resonate with her listeners on a level of musical honesty. She now invites you pull the stems and remix her latest single "Mannequin". Judy shared that the message behind track stating “for me it was a song that just morphed into being very quickly. I wrote it in a few hours and at the end realized that I was writing from a perspective of a woman who was trapped in a cage of societal and personal expectations. Her identity was so wrapped up in pleasing everyone that she forgot who she really was and in essence had become this mutated plastic version of herself.”

- Pull the stems to Mannequin by Judy Karacs
- Remix the track in your DAW of choice
- Publish your update by May 29th for your remix to be listened to and considered to win.
Judy will listen to all of the remixes along with the Blend team in early May. She will include her favorite remixes on an official remix release on the Blend label out later this year. Let’s start collaborating with Judy’s new track and remix!

Thanks to the Blend community for publishing so many awesome remixes for Judy's project. Judy listened to all of the submissions and fell in love with 10 remixes! Congrats to SubCarrier, DRKNST, Sunitram, Druidh Druidh, Frank Irwin, Victor VL , Fir3ant, Bartek, Ben Osterhouse, and Chiappex for producing some incredible new versions of "Mannequin".
