MACROLEV Publishes New Single “Leaving”, Win Sausage Fattener & More

London based producer MACROLEV has only progressed through the years with his electronic dance signature sound from Blend’s Various Artist Volume 1 to releasing music on Spinning Top records. MACROLEV is now excited to share a new single called “Leaving” with the Blend community and inviting you to remix it!
“Leaving” was produced in Ableton 9 with featuring powerful tools like Sausage Fattener, Monark, Fab Filter Pro2, Serum and more. The inspiratin behind the track was led by an episodes of Purified Radio by Nora En Pure that was deep and emotional. MACROLEV wanted to take the feeling her show left on him and build his track with a basic house beat starting with a long sustained bass sound created in Serum and doubled using Monark and the rest of the of track was built around that. He added Dada Life's Sausage Fattener to some of the tracks to help with compression and they will be providing the full version to the grand prize winner.
Now MACROLEV is excited to hear your remix of “Leaving”. Are you ready to collaborate?
Here is how to get involved:
- Pull “Leaving” by MACROLEV
- Create your remix in your DAW of choice
- Publish your update by September 10th to be considered a winner
And that’s it!
MACROLEV will review all of the submitted remixes published on August 10th and announce the winners that month. The Grand Prize winner will receive Sausage Fattener by Dada Life and Equator by ROLI and 2 runner ups will be featured on social media and Blend.

In this remix, you may be wondering what part of the song this is, well what I did was there was a little sample of this guitar-ish sound that @macrolev included in the file, so I grabbed that, put it into a Sampler, and played it in different keys, that's how I got this melody.
