Howdy Folks!

140 BPM
3 Audio, 7 Midi tracks
Progress:Ready
Where can I sign up for the sound engineering course? I need a primer in mixing/levels/sound engineering.
Tidied up the parts and attempted to adjust levels appropriately. Sounds alright on headphones...small speakers, not so much. :-)

Like the dragged knife sound and 'bounce' - good stuff

Nice chill beat. Like the robotic/digital sounds and feel to it. Good Job!

Awesome. I really like the syncopation that the vocals bring later in the track. Well done.

Jeepers, you only need to watch about 1 minute of that to see how useful that is. Thanks for the link.

Cool. Here's a quick 4 minute you tube tutorial on it: http://youtu.be/JWgibi7XZ8E

That's really helpful. I could see where the frequencies were clashing - between the kick and the bass part on two peaks in particular. I failed to make headway with (forget their names) the filter/eq devices that allow you to control the volume on particular frequencies. I'll have a look at converting the audio to midi. Thank you.

Nice job. It's tough working with loops because they maximize the loudness on them so they are tough to control in the mix...especially if multiple frequencies are represented in one loop. The losing battle intensifies with each loop added to the mix. A really cool feature in Ableton is converting audio to Midi. It's great because if you find a loop that you like you can convert it to midi and then assign your own midi instrument to it. This empowers you to carve out the frequency with more precision and make it your own sound.

Well done... it has some crunk to it....

Probably finished, though I can hear a few parts in the bleeps and bells lines that I'd like to tweak.
