Broken Orchestra Remix Contest

REMIX CONTEST! Explore the sounds from recorded the sounds of over 800 of broken instruments in an effort to inspire the public to ‘adopt’ these instruments and raise funds to repair and return them to public schools throughout Philadelphia A panel of Broken Instrument experts (comprised of acclaimed musicians, producers and industry folks) will then select 3 winners to receive cash prizes, software from our friends at Ableton and hardware from innovative ‘new kid on the Block’ ROLI. The winners will be featured on the Symphony For A Broken Orchestra album, alongside Pulitzer-prize winning composer David Lang’s new Broken Orchestra symphonic work.

@Eleven 11 Studio that what I thought at first, make some goofy jazz-piece, but then I hat so much fun chopping up the beaten down trombone in Maschine I just went for this one

Yours is Super Great. I tried the literal Orchastral thing and make it kind of a misfit high school orchestra on substitute teacher day. Im not sure the comedy really shows I could have used another few days to dial it in beter time.

All from samples out of this library. Beat chopped in Maschine. Rest of the sounds were tuned simpler instruments in Live fed with some samples. Havily distorted with FX, especially with NI Reaktor Molekular FX and NI Delays.
