3 weeks ago I embarked on a madman project of covering Mike Oldfield's "Taurus II" from "Five Miles out". As basis I used the midi file by Rene de Vreng on tubular.net (http://tubular.net/midi/TaurusII.mid). Though it is flawed in some respect, as some parts are missing and some a just not really right, it served me good up to the middle of the piece. Now I'm kind of stuck ... so why not ask for help. Any Oldfield fans here who want to go with me on the journey. It can be rewarding. I already did some remixes/covers of Mike's songs and learned a lot. (they're up on my soundcloud). I put my ableton project up here. At least the midi files and the vocals should work. But you might have to replace some Vsts :-)) If someone has an idea or can supply me with some sheet music or more precise midi I'd be happy. If someone can add a real instrument or real vocal (mine is vocaloid again) then do it. Or make your own cover. I'll be updating again ... so come back an give me your input - in words or music.
