I like the sounds you're using.Consider adding some new stuff about thirty seconds in to lift the song above repetition. It doesn't have to be heavy handed, and is preferable if subtle. Examples can include an occasional hit on a snare or hat on an off beat, or the usual standard but predictable filter sweep, or the statement of a small melodic figure that you can develop later on to bind the entirety of your song together, or the start of a vocal, not some boring sampled vocal sound, but the beginnings of a poem or lyric that you wrote your self that suits the mood you are after.. This will make the difference between a good and memorable piece of music and the average.

Unique modern sound. Nice feel....

Your original pieces show as much promise as your remakes of established artists. With a good choice of lead synth sound I could see this getting onto a Cafe del Mar chillout album.

A bit late for comments for the course ;-) , but in general you could make this track into a really long piece if you expand the harmony (chord sequence). Have a look at the chords for some songs by singer-songwriters you like. This genre is ripe for extension! Good stuff.

Added a nice FM Pluck to add that extra chill :)

I'm really digging it. A lead melody synth would really make it even more interesting. Good sounds.
