That's it my final project for this assignment. Small tweaks nothing more. Added more filtering on the bass. You should be able to hear the sub now.

Thanks to @Spiderhound, and @Gerard Lion, for the feedback on the bass, I have shifted a part up an octive and routed all but the bass and the drums to a send track and added a high and low pass filter to crop the frequencies. As always feedback please

@Spiderhound thanks I'm currently using the Lite version so I'm a bit limited. I'll try it with the trail this week hopefully

This is a really fun track. You can make this sound great by adding some EQ plug-ins on each track (preferably the EQ Eight - my Favorite) to carve out the competing frequencies in the low end. When working with EQ's you will most likely be cutting more frequencies rather than boosting (i.e. you basically cut low frequencies from everything but the Kick & bass and remove unnecessary high frequencies from each track as well. This will give you a lot more headroom in the final mix. Nice, work @PsyPhi!

Interesting, but I find the bass line somehow a bit overwhelming, maybe too much syncopation...what do I know?

Very cool and fun. What instruments did you use? great combo Please let me know at @kurtkleine thanks

Ok final project. I ditched the EQ & Glue as it was boosting the high end too much. Now I have Mono on the kick and sub bass. Bass and sub have compressor on the kick and filters.Track 4 have simple delay, Track 7 have Chord, Arp and Scale. Sorry it's longer then the other ones. As far as the MIDI clips go I made them harmonise with a simple chord progression (I-IV-II-V) in Am. Please commit and give feed back.

It's sounds like you might be compressing it too hard. There's a lot of distortion going on. go to the loudest part and just bring back the threshold of the compressor till you're not hearing the distortion anymore. Loudness is def nice, but never at the expense of the quality of the sound. here's a couple of great articles that have a lot of info, http://productionadvice.co.uk/?s=loudness+wars
