Progress:Rough Draft
This is an original song. I had intended that it be sung by a gravely voice male. My effort to sing it failed. I resorted to a friend who is a good singer, but her voice is more at home in musicals. However, the result is interesting in that her voice contrasts with the instruments. She and I both agreed to re-record her next week so that her vocals are stronger. I've had this song lying around for quite a while, so I'm glad the course gave the incentive to record it. I'm deadline driven. I played the stringed instrument. The guitar is a Gibson SG (1987) run through a Boss GT-100 using the '69 Experience preset slightly modified (overdrive + unidrive). The bass is Fender Squier Mikey Way Signature Mustang run through a Sansamp Bass Driver Deluxe with Ableton's bass amp plugin. The synthesizer is the Cakewalk Z3TA+.

Reduced the project size by 1GB. Ableton apparently keeps all discarded WAV files unless you use the file manager to delete them.

Ableton keeps unused files unless you use the file manager to delete them. I reduced the size of the project from 1.3GB to 320MB.

I've worked on this far too long. So it's finished.
