Retired from a stressful career as a management consultant, now able to spend my time on my garden and music. Used Ableton for some years but only as a platform for performance - live sampling and processing. Never used MIDI and never made an arrangement before this course. Looking to learn how to use the other Live capabilities.

Progress:Rough Draft
First draft of Assignment 3. No Max for Live. Audio warped and cut up, then converted or sliced to MIDI. Had great fun with the various instruments and effects. This is not dance music or any obvious genre: has most in common with contemporary improv and indie nonclassical! Oh, it's in 3/4.

Hi I heard your 3 projects and they're impressive. By the way: Toots Thielemans retired a year ago. I don't know if he's on Blend :-)

I write music for the theatre and in my opinion this piece or its parts may be successfully used on stage.

This is very funny, like being in a circus!!! Good vibe and very interesting use of tempo. I also like the effects and the voices. Great job!

Great track!! Feels kind of random, but you can find the story there. And the beat is great. Could be a soundtrack of some psychedelic cartoon :D

Really creative and different! I'll have to find a way to record sounds and use then in tracks.
