Former live, touring sound engineer, house engineer for the now defunct King Theater, (King Kat) a large venue in Seattle.
Former backline tech for Studio Instrument Rentals (SIR). Background with tube set gear from the cold war era, was tutored by one of Seattle's leading live engineers, Frank Farmer and Don Dodge of Bad Company, Michael Jackson and Styx. (RIP) Spent Several years on the road with Clinton Fearon (Gladiators, Black Ark Studios, Lee Perry) with a live dub show. Engineered at the closing of my career with Brandi Carlile and the Hanseroth Brothers (Tim and Phil). Substituted at Jazz Alley, and have mixed monitors for greats like Herbie Hancock and FOH for Taj Mahal, and countless other giants.
Working musician (bass), singer songwriter, several album credits and production credits. Now music is a personal thing I do at home now and share my time with my son and restore vintage motorcycle seats. The digital realm has broadened my aspiration for arranging music and lets me have all the fun with Dub, without the giant console and rack of outboard gear.
I found that the more I do this the better it gets and try to produce at least a cut a week and sometimes more. Now at over 20 songs published on this site, I am thinking I should have just put a few up. You don't get water from a lot of tiny holes, you get it by digging one deep well. Kudos to those who are on here with me and share the same love of production and music. The digital domain isn't something I grew up with and feel like a kid in a candy store!

@Eleven 11, sure your right!

Agreed. I always am off the opinion that you need to fill that space as much as you can with what you have. Delay works well for that as well as for the voice. Besides, what is reggae without stoney. Don't they go together?

@Eleven 11, thanks man, it is amazing what you can do with space and sparse choices. It needs to be about 4 minutes. Its like a B side Version LOL! The delay is severe on the vocals, a little too stoney.
