This was a little over an hour, for these i dont work in my DAW because of time restraints. Not sure what to catagorize this as other than "experimental". Tried some new approaches to separating sounds as far as their frequencies. Its called the "Abbey Road Curve", for effects and the "Dr Pepper Trick" for compression (10-2-4). Let me know what you think about the sound quality. Thanks 😀👍...

interesting effects to say the least. I think its very cool. What Natural said re sparingly - I have mixed feelings about that. I have been told that about some of my stuff as well, but I say if you have something cool and different then go with it. It is hard to contain it anyway... right @Natural Eyes and @Vurnila

hi steven, i agree with natural eyes about the saw, a little goes a long way. sound quality sounds great to me. i feel like theres another section waiting to happen here, drop to another chord and jam out something dark. great work all round keep it up

You've got some cool ideas here. I kind of feel like the saw sound takes over the whole composition though. I would use it a little more sparingly, omitting it from some sections and making them more sparse, as @Vurnila already advised. Less is more -- a lesson which I have a hard time taking to heart myself! I tend to get into a groove where I pile a hundred ideas onto one track and can't stand to leave any of them out, even though I know objectively sometimes you need to sacrifice a good part to make the overall composition better. Anyway, thanks for asking! :)

@Steven Pittman, It's sound good for me too. It is not exactly my kind of music, but it's pretty interesting.

I am pretty impressed by overall mixing. As you've realized, hard eqing can improve a mix considerably. I liked the way you mixed the track at the start. I liked the way you set up the sound stage through the mixing. Clarity issues start to emerge when the supersaw/string pad and other effects (The descending gritty siren) come into the picture. It buries the other tracks. You can try experimenting with mid/side processing and see how it plays out. Otherwise, you can consider automating the gain or levels of the track at points in the track to bring focus to the points of interest (some slight changes can help). Compositionally wise, you should find some points in the music to release after building tension. It will help the music sound more interesting. Subtracting elements in the music (drums, melody, harmony, bass) can help to provide some release. It's a good job!
