I wanted to try something a bit more up tempo so I decided on a Latin/Jazz fusion style composition. Breaking the piece down in order of tracks starts with the Ableton Grand Piano, played on a Novation Impulse 61. On track 2 I played drums via a Drum KAT DK-10 pad controller MIDI’ed up to a Yamaha Motif ES Rack. Track 3 is Ableton’s Bass Synth. Track 4, Ableton’s Percussion Flange, Track 5, is a brief voice to MIDI conga insert, Track 6, voice audio which was converted to tracks 7 & 8, voice to MIDI bass line (which I hummed) and track 9 a second Ableton piano to accentuate the bridge and exit.
