Come make music with Sub Dapper, and Whatacartoon! Track description: We will be using Ableton as our basis, and will use blend and dropbox to share found and original samples. Our direction will be Sampled based lo-fi music, which will be geared towards 120BPM and will be in the key of C minor. Other than Ableton we will be using third-party plugins such as Sylenth, Polysix, Omnispehere, and Camel Phat. By reverse engineering the track we will move away from the conventional song making process and go into the experimental. Rather than gradually building upon the track, we will record 30 minute jams in the designated BPM and key, select interesting sections and ultimately compile the group effort to make a united musical piece. The project will be open in the introductory phase but will later become private.
