I mainly do instrumental music, but I won't limit myself to one genre. The current musical thread in my tracks is electronic ambient folk. But if you listen to my whole body of work here, on soundcloud or on spotify, you will see that my taste and style are quite eclectic. So pick the tracks you like and enjoy them

Remix "Waterfalls" It is growing on me ... at first I didn't really know what to do with it, as I don't like chop-up-remixes that put the vocals on a totally unrelated track, but then it got a life of its own ... beats are Maschine 2.23 with some changes

I really like it! I think you saved the atmosphere of the initial track and added a lot of interesting things. But I would stop around 4:17 (IMHO:)))

cleaned up drop #1

@Spede Thanks. Listened today on my car speakers at full rage and it sounded pretty right to me too. I'm not sure about both drops. Maybe to much going on with the percussion in break one and what do you think about the pause in drop 2? Too short? Its just a quarter note ... but more sounds weird to me either. Still experimenting.

I think it sounds great man! I personally consider it still a tad light on the bottom end, but that's really a matter of opinion at this point. If you like it, it's perfect.

Sounds good to me.

tried to cut the bottom end as suggested by @Spede and stretched the second drop finally using the heartbeat sample, What do you all think?

@Spede Thanks for the advice. I noticed that when listening to the track on my phones headphones. I tried to almost mono the sub and put the pianos base in the overall base sidechain. It sounds better I think. Just uploaded the new preview when I saw your info. Checking the the EQ on the sub I noticed that I have a cutoff at 10 Hz instead of 30 Hz and an accent on 30 Hz instead of 50 Hz as I had thought. Taking care of that in the next update. Meanwhile I would like your opinion on the new version.

added a second drop and spaced out some of the added vocals

I think you've got a great thing going on here! I love that glass synth which plays the lead vocal hook melody. On the technical side I feel you've pushed the weight of the low end too low. To me this sounds a very bass light mix (especially when it comes to kick drum), and only digging up the analyzer reveal you've got some 30 Hz rumble there. IMO this would sound more powerful with a bit more balanced bottom end overall; comparably less of the 30 Hz stuff and more of everything else.
