Hi @roderik, thank you for the input. I will try that, it is a very good idea.

i am not sure of the piano line. i would mute it for awhile, don't throw it away, and listen again to your basic arrangement. Now try to imagine what sound you would hear playing along this very cool, groovy dark and mysterious arrangement you have. ;)

holly cow! I had never thought of that. :) Thanks, i guess it works. Let me try to figure out where that can head me.

I dig the laid-back vibe! Maybe experimenting with different piano sounds would make it blend it a bit more.

I think i still have to add something like a more ambient track to keep this together, You guys rock, your advice has made me get this a little better (i'm alomost liking it)

Hi gyus, thank you so much for listening and helping me out with this. I'm really not a musician, just a music lover that also like to play, and this is my first serious attempt using Live, or any other similar software. I think that definitly i'll add in the shakers sooner. And i'll try some different approaches to the "broken" piano. I'll keep you posted.

yea i agree with adding some shakers in sooner and maybe adding in a chorus or breakdown section to break up the tune a bit. Intro is cool. made me think a shark was coming. and i'm torn on the piano. Part of me says leave it and part of me says break it up somehow or add bass or sync bass to the piano more? cant put my finger on it.

This has a nice swing to it... would start conga/shakers sooner and maybe get some alternate piano riff going, but a nice start.

yeh it needs more work but nice try!

:) Thanks @Kurt Kleine the idea was to have a sort of clumsy piano, but maybe it's too much "off". And yeah, i guess that the synth parth sometimes seams to be going somewhere else. Noe i have to find some time to work on it.
