My first assignment for the online course Introduction to Ableton Live at Berklee College of Music. Feeling totally lost...it's my first attempt to create a track with Ableton. Working som more on this later on I hope. (Renja's description)...
I had an idea to do a project with only vocal sounds. A while back David Nolting blend.io/davidnolting suggested that I try remixing... Who Me?! … Well I decided to “remix” Renja Selin’s beautiful Assignment 1 Project. Listen to it, it’s great! http://blnd.io/1z8DB1g Anyway I used her MIDI but replaced the instrument sounds with all vocal sounds. What turned out is not what I envisioned and parts of it clash (but I don’t know how to fix it). I slowed the tempo down a bit and did the best I could. Just an idea…

Judy Karacs, Thank You! Glad you enjoyed it! This was an experiment I tried with Renja Selin's project. It go me obsessed with choir type sounds. You should check out my more recent projects where my obsession was taken to the next level. Enjoy!....

Thank You for such a beautiful comment Calynda! Yes you are correct, this is far from perfect (as I stated in my description). This was a great song with piano chords, a bass line, some cello melodies, a little guitar riff etc. As an experiment I replaced all of those instruments with 2 different choir sounds that I found and used the original MIDI of all the parts. So some things like the rhythmic piano chords just didn't transfer well and even clashed with the whole sound and I got some mud. There's a lot of delay on there too to further muddy things up. There really isn't much clipping, it's just too much stuff overlapping and clashing. But where it does work, it is as you say "poetry". I was totally fascinated with everything vocal that I stepped it up on Blending Voices. I don't know if you listened to that one. Anyway, Thank you for your thoughts!....

it's like ocean waves coming and leaving, it's like poetry. Very likeable. Still i'm feelling something distorting in the levels in mixing. Some clipping maybe?

I opened this preview in another software and noticed how small and weak the waveform looked so I bumped it up. Hope I didn't mess it up...

Thank You FadedShadows for your insightful comments! Yes, with all of the delay and reverb you can still hear Renja Selin's original hiding in there! "Ethereal water state..." Wow Love That!.... Many Thanks!....

this is very nice! I love how you can hear the slight subtleties of the movements in the background; it almost feels like you in an ethereal water state. Great job!

Hey Eleven, this is actually Renja Selin's A1 that I reworked with an idea that I wanted to try. My A1 is that 12 minute job down below. I'm pretty sure you commented on it. Thanks for checking this one out!....
