I had fun making this project, started with the sample you hear first and went from there. I added some Bob Marley samples to it because I didn't know what else to add haha. Please listen and critique! Thanks!
Also, just boosted the drums a little bit and I tried to pitch the Marley vocals differently but they sound too strange to me haha

Really nice, love the bass. The Bob Marley samples fit really well. Just one thing, to me it sounds like the main synth/pad overpowers the rest of the parts too much?

Agree w/ Johnny. If you added a side chain to the pads it would give the song more of a 'moving forward/driving' feel to it as well as giving the kick it's own space. Otherwise, it's a nice mellow jam

you could do a side chain if you want to add that style and flavor. but tech speaking, the kick and hats do cut through fine. it's just the clap. all it needs is some volume really. just go to the clap sample and turn it up until you can hear it cut through the mix as much as the kick does. the blend of the drums should sound pretty decent once you do that.

really like that ping pong delay going on. like that voice as well, also agreed with johnny a bigger clap sound would kick it up.

but thanks for the advice and help!!

Should I sidechain all the drums to bring them out a little more? and are you guys able to pull my project?

This is cool. I like the synths and the chords you're playing. the beat is dope. I like how the kick frequency matches the chord changes, a lot of producers don't pay attention to the key of the kick. good stuff. i agree with jack a little. the kick and hats sound fine but that clap is buried under those synths. bring that up to try and have a similar presence to the kick. Also agree with Kall a little too. The bob sample is great! sounds awesome. but you never know, you might have a lot of fun if you record some of that stuff yourself. especially if it's such a small element like a quick "Alright!" in the case of the bob sample

wher is the tatita marley????just jokin', I go with Jack about the drums

Nice job. Bring up the drums in proportion. I like it.

Pretty cool. As a suggestion, (if I may) you may wish to transpose or warp Bob Marley's voice. Besides copyright/royalty issues, it's more interesting to hear something unique that reminds us of Bob Marley rather than Bob Marley himself.
